Targa Celebrates Earth Day
Targa Newfoundland encourages all of our staff, business associates and competitors as individuals and team members to celebrate Earth Day by going the extra mile to recognize and take positive steps toward creating a healthier and more sustainable world.
Purchasing and using energy efficient and green products in our everyday lives not just on this significant day is a good step for all. Keeping you car in top shape, right down to the tires helps increase performance, reduces emissions and saves you money.
Reuse, Recycle, Reduce and Eliminate!
This year Targa will be implementing a green plan for our event which will start with our staff and reach to all competitors and crews and the communities in which we operate. This plan will grow as time moves on. We have been consulting with many outside agencies and will continue to improve this plan in a diligent manner.
We will be dealing with reducing our waste during the event and leaving all venues in a much better condition than before we arrived. Waste management is only a small piece of our plan. This program will be rolled out in June and we encourage all of our associates to think of better ways in which all can act positively to make Targa Newfoundland a leader in Environmental Stewardship.
