Targa Newfoundland spokesperson & President Robert Giannou is pleased to advise that Marc Lachapelle & navigator, Keith Townsend are both fine and have been released from hospital.

Car 906, a Subaru Impreza WRX Sti, had an incident on the first stage of the Prologue in Flatrock today. As per the safety procedures of Targa Newfoundland, both men were transported to the hospital and checked out by medical personnel.

At this time, there is no word on the condition of the vehicle and whether they will be on the road in the morning.
