Registration

Saturday Sept 13 Img7531

The Targa Newfoundland entry process is simple.   The event, as said before, is designed to have something for everyone.  We have set the registration process out as a series of decision steps:

1. The decision that an interested competitor has to make is what competition to enter, The Grand Touring competition or the full on Targa competition.

  • The Grand Touring competition is designed for both beginners and experienced crews and allows them to compete on a level that does not require a fully prepared competition vehicle. Not even a roll cage is required in Grand Touring.
  • The Targa competition is for those that want to compete at the ultimate level and does require a fully prepared vehicle with a competition rollover cage as per the Regulations set out elsewhere.

2. Once the decision on what competition to enter has been made you have to decide on how your crew is going to share the experience.  Crews are comprised of a driver who operates the vehicle and co-driver who navigates or they may share the roles.

3. When you have decided how you will participate all you have to do is download the forms for the competition you chose, mail the completed Entry Form and together with the appropriate fees and license documentation (as set out below) to the Targa office.  Crews are allowed to amend the form later if they decide to do so.
