As the competition progresses, that time window will get smaller and smaller throughout the competition requiring crews to be more and more precise in their driving as the competition progresses. The
Grand Touring Competition competes on the exact same route as the Targa Competition, and on the same closed stages which allows for use of the entire road while on a competition stage.
