A crew member that has already achieved a Gold plate, and a Platinum plate needs two more consecutive silver trophies (after the Platinum plate award) in order to win a Diamond plate.  The Diamond plate can only be won by a crew member than has already won both the Gold and Platinum plates, after which he/she has completed all Targa stages within the plate time specified for their vehicle class.

The diamond plate will be awarded in lieu of the third silver plate (at which point the crew member should have 6 silver plates, one gold and one platinum - the ninth one will be diamond).
